Is there an easier way to remove wires than right clicking on the module that they go into and un-ticking the source?
Its easy to make wires with ctrl-click, i reckon if you ctrl-right click on a wire it should delete. something like that would be handy.

Yes, there is another option:
Simply ctrl clicking like you would if you had to create the wire again
will remove that wire !
However, this is not intuitive, so I plan to make this different somehow.
Havn't really come up with a better way yet though.
ps: Be careful that you don't accidently create an infinite loop.

As robenestobenz said, it would be better if the option to create feedback loops was still there, perharps tho add a warning screen in case it was created accidentally, but i think u should try and come up with a more intuitive way to remove wires that allows the creation of loops in a completely unrelated fashion, so the user will not confuse the 2 actions...
