How to link up each module?

Post by cowby »

Hi, just d/l the demo and because it has no manual so I have to ask it here.

I saw some of the tutorials in you tube that one can make the cursor changed to a cross and then draw an arrow to link up 2 modules (say OSC1 --> SVC). But I couldn't do it in Cubase 5. Any hints?

Hi Cowby! :D

Yes, your are right:
Simply hold Ctrl - then left click on the source module's titlebar (a cross will appear). Then click the target module that you wish to route the signal to.

More info can also be found in the F.A.Q.: http://karmafx.net/?id=3, but don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

PS: you can also connect several modules in a row this way, by keeping Ctrl pressed while clicking on each module - one at a time.

got it ! don't want to open up another thread...

May I know OSC1 & 2 come only with basic wav form (SAW/SIN/TRI etc ...). If I want more wav form, I have to use sampler to load sample as Sound generator, right?

Yes you can use the sampler for other waveforms, or the Additive module.
In the Additive you can even draw your own waveforms, edit their harmonic content or import them from .wav files.
