Another Feature Request

I've got another feature request. :) It would be really nice to be able to modulate the properties of an additive waveform (Monics, Scale, Gibbs.) I was just rapidly moving the knob a moment ago, and the effect was exquisite. If I had an LFO doing it for me, it would be perfect.

Yes, good point...
This was not included due to a possible severe performance hit, when tweaking these parameters. I'll investigate how bad it really is though.

It didn't seem to make much of a difference on my system, but I was only turning one knob at a time. Perhaps if all three were moving it would take more of a hit. I can take a look next time I open it, and see what the difference is here. Is KarmaFX multithreaded? Is this only handled by the host, or not at all? I have four cores, so I'm just curious if this helps at all with a single instance.

Yes, KarmaFX Synth is multithreaded. Currently, only the Pad module takes advantage of multiple cores, but I could extend the Additive module to do the same...

I played around with a the Monics knob on a single additive oscillator, and didn't see more than 1% difference, and that could have been for several other reason, as it wasn't a completely controlled test. (had other fluctuations like an LFO controlling a filter)
