Host modulation is steppy (Resolved)
I'm trying to modulate stuff in cubase such as the frequency cutoff of a synth, but it sounds steppy. I've tried the "MidiData" module, connected the value a control, sent the module to modulate the frequency cutoff, and it seems there's no way to modulate any parameter within the host wit...

Hotkeys (not important enough IMO)
Dang, I just realized KarmaFX has no hotkeys (except for adjusting synth parameters) Is this because of the problem where hosts don't let synths have hotkeys without some certain feature turned on or something? I dunno what I'm saying. However, hotkeys for minimize/maximize all and show/hide modulat...

FR: Random sine LFO
What do I mean by random sine LFO? Inside the LFO module, there's Random1 which randomly goes up and down. However, a random LFO that is smooth instead of square-ish is really great for sound design.

Envelopes reseting on Legato mode. (resolved)
It seems that playing four connected (legato) notes will cause the Envelope module (and possibly the Step and ADSR modules) to reset. When I program patches for KarmaFX I realize how much potential it has. I continue to run into small limitations and so whenever I do I post the limitation it as a bu...

NotePitch module controlling all oscs (resolved)
(post edited to hide noobish disposition) I connect a Frequency module to OSC 1 and NotePitch module to OSC 2. While Frequency module decides the bass note for OSC 1, because the NotePitch module is active, OSC 1's frequency changes based on midi note pitch. However, I really want OSC 1's frequency ...

Editing the patches outside the synth makes organizing your bank very easy, especially with the dividers feature. If I make a mistake and cause a crash I'm not going to complain, but any crash that can be avoided is one more point in all-round stability of a synth. I'm still getting unexplained cras...

well its rather a user inflicted bahaviour. why do you delete patches from a folder (externaly) for an active program - its somewhat as is/as expected. User inflicted, but still a crash which can ruin an entire project if you haven't recently pressed the save button in your host. I think KarmaFX ju...

I'm not sure why you want multiple outputs so the mixing is on the host side? It's not so important. I'd just use it to, for example, give snare a little more external reverb than the hat, and give the kick no external reverb. But I can of course use the internal KarmaFX reverb for that. The most i...

Ohhh, some explanation is needed. By outputs, I meant to the host, and by drum machine I meant synthesized percussion. For example, I want to create a sine osc and two nosie generators. I attatch frequency controllers and envelopes to the 3 oscs. The sine envelope sounds like a kick, the other two n...

This is a bit of an extensive request so I don't expect you to consider it for the early future, but it would be awesome if you could design entire drum machines in KarmaFX. FR: Allow more modules of a type.
I strongly feel that 8 modules of one type just isn't enough and it should be extended to at least doubt that, to 16. After you have LFOs controlling delays and choruses, you use up most of your modulation availability. If you want multi-point envelopes and other modulation going on, you'll hit the ...

Yeah, the flute is a synth made with Vember|Audio Surge. Some kind of feedback algorithm + controlling frequency and distortion amount. I wouldn't know how to recreate it in KarmaFX. But maybe it's just a matter of finding the right waveform? No that wouldn't work because the feedback algorithm adds...

http://www.elanhickler.com/d/bass1.mp3 sorry about my playing skills. FR: Need more legato/portamento modes
It would be great if there was a second legato mode where portamento would only occur when you hold two notes instead of sliding up and down with every single note. The synth also has a weird way of doing portamento. You have to hold down the notes or the pitch slide will jump to the next note inste...

Held notes get cutoff (FIXED)
Right now the way polyphony is handled really makes it hard to play the synth realtime. When I'm holding down a few base notes and I want to play a fast melody on the upper part of the keyboard, the bass notes will cut off after the polyphony is reached. The way to remedy this would be to create a l...

I think you can't assign different envs to different voices. Not trying to assign different envelopes to different voices. By voice I meant, for example, if you play three notes on your keyboard, that is three voices. I don't mean oscillators. Is there a way for FM-style synthesis?
I'm a noob so I don't know how to use KarmaFX fully, but is there a way to do an FM-style grid synthesis like FM8, Toxic III, and Sytrus? They all use that grid thing with knobs. Is there a way to emulate this in KarmaFX or is there plans for something? Thanks!

I am definitely going to buy KarmaFX. It's exactly what I've been looking for. It's perfect! It lives up to every single one of my expectations. You know, KarmaFX doesn't just sound good.
