“ I demoed [KarmaFX Synth] v2 recently n went in expecting to be disappointed and having everything sound very "samey" which was my overall impression of v1 years ago. I couldn't have been more wrong. This synth is a powerhouse, I'm tempted to compare it to Dune 3 quality-wise. The new filters are great, the standard delay module sounds great and behaves just as I hoped it would. Reverbs sound best when run 2 or 3 in series, but when they sound good they really do sound good. I suppose this is where sub-patch nesting really shines. It runs flawlessly (for me anyway) as an effect on an audio track. The comb filter is extremely cool. ...It's probably best to think of it as a modular Virus type synth. It's instant psytrance and distorted 303s. So it doesn't really play in the same ballpark as other vintage inspired modular vsts. I can highly recommend trying out the demo. ”
